Fort Larned to close for Christmas, New Year’s

FORT LARNED – Fort Larned National Historic Site will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25, and the official federal holiday, Monday, Dec. 26. The fort will also be closed for New Year’s Day, Sunday, Jan. 1, and the official federal holiday, Monday, Jan. 2. 

The fort will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 3, for its regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Visit their website for pictures and information about the fort, as well as its role in U.S. history and the history of the Santa Fe Trail.
