This was the 18th year of awarding this the Alan Fullbright Memorial Scholarship given in his memory. 

The criteria for the scholarship is what was a reflection of Alan’s life- Education major, attending either Barton Community College or Fort Hays State University- and showing leadership in high school activities.

Two $750 scholarships were awarded to:

• Jayden Keith – his plans are to major in elementary education and attend either Emporia State University or University of Kansas.

• Brittany Simpson – she is planning on attending Barton Community College and majoring in elementary education.
