The Golden Belt Community Foundation invites proposals for its upcoming grant opportunities. Applications now are being accepted from qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and public institutions, including schools, government entities, and clubs and civic/community organizations in Barton county for charitable programs and projects, said Teresa L. Powelson, GBCF program officer.

The Golden Belt County and Community Grants promote community service and community projects/programs that focus on the enhancement of Barton, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford Counties.

This grant is open to a variety of issues and target populations. However, successful applications are those that will help fulfill the grants mission to enhance the quality of life, today and in the future, building these communities for our future generations.

Applications for competitive grants are being accepted from Sept. 1 through Oct. 1. Grants will be awarded mid-November.

Applications are available online by clicking the Grants link on the foundation website at www.goldenbeltcf.org. Grant guidelines are also posted on the website. Contact Teresa Powelson, Program Officer at (620)792-3000 or teresa@goldenbeltcf.org with any questions.
