Great Bend High School’s 2021 Winter Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, February 5. The match-up will feature the Great Bend Panthers taking on the Liberal Redskins on the basketball court.

Public health concerns have caused most events to shift to a virtual format. Students participated in “Spirit Week” dress-up days and will tune in to a virtual Pep Assembly at 8:05 a.m. on Friday. The Varsity Girls will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the Varsity Boys game beginning at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Spectator limitations do not allow the public to attend. However, all games will be broadcast on the GBHS Athletics YouTube channel at no charge. The link is https://www.youtube.com/c/GBHSAthletics.

Steeped in tradition, the 2021 Homecoming court includes students from grades 9-12 who will represent their classmates at the Homecoming festivities. The Homecoming court will be introduced between games on Friday evening, at approximately 7 p.m., where the 2021 Homecoming King & Queen will be crowned.
