Great Bend High School had a special assembly to honor veterans on Friday. Veterans were invited to attend a complimentary breakfast and then join students in the gymnasium for the program, which included a musical salute to all branches of the military. The guest speaker was Angela Enriquez, who is a 2019 graduate of GBHS, a veteran, and a Barton County Sheriff’s officer.
