In spring, 2013, the United Way gave presentations to the fifth grade classes at the USD 428 and Holy Family Elementary Schools and asked students to make a poster depicting the United Way and the 21 agencies they serve and how they make a difference in the community.
A committee chose several winners from each school and these poster winners that were chosen will be giving their poster to display to volunteers and companies that are involved and are continued supporters of United Way of Central Kansas.
The winners of the contest gave their posters at the GBHS football game on Friday, Sept. 13th.
