The Great Bend Recreation Commission is calling all witches wanting to have some fun decorating a witch hat for Halloween. 

GBRC has 25 free nine-inch paper mache witch hats that can be picked up and decorated, and the staff looks forward to seeing how creative participants can get decorating these hats. 

The Rec is giving these away to the first 25 people that stop by the Great Bend Recreation Commission Office at 1214 Stone St. during office hours starting Wednesday, Oct. 14. Then on Tuesday, Oct. 20, look for the witch hat post on the GBRC Facebook page, where participants can share a photo of their witch hats in the comment section under the post. 

GBRC staff will randomly pick three entries who will win a trick or treat prize for entering your their witch hat. For the hat to be eligible to be entered in the drawing, the photo must be entered by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
