GBRC offers spring break activities

The Great Bend Recreation Commission has programs for children to participate in during spring break. Space is limited so, GBRC Recreation Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick recommends registering now for the following programs:  
Afternoon Kids Day Out – School is out early on Friday, March 13. Children 6-12 years old can attend an afternoon of activities, from 1-5 p.m., at the GBRC Activity Center, 2715 18th St. Includes snacks and crafts.  Registration fee is $12.  
Spring Break Kids Day Out – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, or Thursday, March 19, at the GBRC Activity Center, for children 6-12 years old. Each day will include crafts, games, snacks, bowling or miniature golf at Walnut Bowl, along with some other high energy organized activates. Pre-registration is required by Friday, March 13. Pizza will be provided on Tuesday and sub sandwiches on Thursday, along with snacks and drinks both days. Registration fee is $15 per day. Enroll for one or both days.
The Imagination Playground will be available on Wednesday, March 18, at the GBRC Activity Center from 9:30-11 a.m. and from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  This is a free drop in activity recommended for children 2 years old and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
