Golden Plains Quilts of Valor presented quilts to the following veterans on Oct. 28, 2022, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend.

 Larry Bracken

United States Air Force veteran Senior Airman Larry Bracken was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on October 28, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Larry served from 1987 to 1991. The quilt top was made by Linda Bittel; quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor. United States Army veteran Staff Sergeant Randy Landreville was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on October 28, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Randy served from 1979 to 1999. The quilt top was made by Millie Hill; quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor. United States Marine Corps veteran Lance Corporal Joseph Tippmann was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on October 28, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend.
