Grad ceremonies conclude spring semester at ESU

Area residents are among more than 500 students who completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at Emporia State University during the spring 2026 semester. During ceremonies on May 15 and 16, Neelima Parasker, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, gave remarks.

Area graduates from this area include: Haley Delgadillo of Albert, Education Specialist in School Psychology; Ty Turner of Belpre, Magna Cum Laude, B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services; Elizabeth Gruis of Hoisington, Education Specialist in School Psychology; Kathryn Holt, Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Biology with concentrations in Health Care and Pre-Medical and a minor in Health; and Trevor Meyer, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in General Studies with a minor in Applied Criminology, both of Larned; Lily Boughfman of Marquette, Cum Laude, B.S. in Education in Elementary Education.
