Great Bends St. Rose demolition continues The methodical process of razing the former St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center continued Thursday afternoon as Ark Wrecking of Tulsa, Okla., slowly dismantled what once was home to Central Kansas Medical Center. St. Roses Mark Mingenback said they have to be careful not to damage the other structures, thats why it is taking so long. Much of the metal is being recycled and the most of the concrete will be ground up and used to fill the whole. He said their building contractor has indicated the new front entrance of the new building will be completed by the end of July, meaning the demolition will be close to completed by then. - photo by DALE HOGG Great Bend Tribune Latest Groundbreaking ceremony celebrates future IGNITE Innovation Center USD 428 looks at solar panels on some buildings Solar reg return to City Council for approval Work begins on Ellinwood’s Northwest Development housing project
