St. Johns Episcopal Church, located at the corner of 17th and Adams St. in Great Bend, will conduct an Ash Wednesday service at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 18.
The church is offering a Lenten study each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. This study will give anyone interested in the Episcopal church the opportunity to learn the service and the why’s of how the services are conducted.
“This is also a wonderful opportunity for all current members of the church to really get to know and understand their faith,” said member Rose Kelly.
St. Johns has also started having brunch the first Sunday of each month. This is open to anyone and a freewill offering is taken.
All are welcome. The Sunday services are at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Phyllis Flory. Coffee hour follows the service.
