The American Legion Auxiliary is having its sixth Annual Hawaiian Luau Fundraiser this Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Great Bend American Legion Post, 1011 Kansas Ave. The front door opens at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $15 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased for $13 Tuesday through Saturday at the American Legion after 5 p.m.
The menu will feature Aaron Delgado’s pulled pork, and the ham, scalloped potatoes, baked beans and many other sides and desserts will be furnished by the auxiliary.
Timber Creek DJ will provide entertainment from 8-11 p.m., and there will be a live auction during the intermission.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Fort Dodge Soldiers Home, Legacy Scholarship Fund and Golden Plains Quilts of Valor.
Members and guests of The American Legion and other veterans organizations are welcome.
