The public can “tune in” to the Great Bend Public Library’s Facebook page the night before Halloween to hear the original Orson Welles radio broadcast of “War of the Worlds.” The library will host the presentation live at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, exactly 82 years after the original broadcast that terrified a nation.

Listen to the infamous broadcast of an alien invasion from Mars, and the helpless humans trying to survive these ruthless invaders, said Hannah Grippin at the library. “Join us to listen to this very special broadcast that should provide a fun Halloween fright for all.”
