Heartland Farm will host its first Teen Camps for 12-15-year-old boys and girls this July.
Girls’ Camp takes place from 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 16, and Boys’ Camp takes place from 7 p.m. Friday, July 21, to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 23.
Campers will tent camp under the starry sky to enjoy several meteor showers with excellent viewing in the farm’s inky black skies. On the 80-acre farmstead, they will participate in activities like swimming and fishing, telling stories around the campfire, exploring three-miles of nature trails, and studying nature and their place within it. Campers also will help around the farm and hang out with a herd of alpacas and large flock of chickens.
Teen Camp fees are $125 per camper which includes Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Sunday brunch. Campers must have a signed parental consent form on file prior to the start of camp.
Heartland Farm’s Teen Camps are overnight camps. Space is very limited, so register now. Registrations are due by July 7.
