Hoisington City Council to meet Monday

When the Hoisington City Council meets Monday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at the Hoisington City Building, 109 E. First St., City Manager Jonathan Mitchell will provide the council with updates on several city operations items including the Clara Barton Hospital expansion project project, progress on engine replacement at the city’s power plant, the forthcoming pool season, staffing updates, a bike share program, updates on the construction of a new Family Dollar store, and preliminary discussions on the 2021-2022 city budget.

Also on the agenda is an executive session related to the preliminary discussion of the acquisition of real property, pursuant to KSA 75-4319(b)(6). Mitchell said no action is expected to be taken regarding the discussion following the executive session.
