The Hoisington High School forensics team placed third out of 8 schools at a forensics tournament at Great Bend High School recently.
Joanna Lockwood placed third in informative speaking and fourth in interpretation of prose. Her finish in prose was good enough to qualify her for State Forensics in May.
Nick Doerschlag and Elizabeth Lacey placed fifth in duet acting. Nick also placed fifth in extemporaneous speaking.
Jadyn Spears placed fifth in interpretation of poetry, and Robbie Willesden placed fifth in serious solo acting.
Kenzie Wolf also competed.
In earlier action at Central Plains, Kirk Reisner placed fifth in oration. In serious solo acting, Kylie Crawford placed fourth, and Tiffany Umphrey placed fifth.
Tanner Blackwell, Joanna Lockwood, Kenzie Wolf, and Shae Bitter also competed at Central Plains.
