Injury accident in Great Bend

According to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office. At 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 20, deputies responded to an injury accident at U.S. 56 at mile marker 208.
A gray 2008 Ford F150 driven by Daniel Cannon was traveling east on U.S. 56. Cannon hit an icy spot and the truck started to slide.
As Cannon was correcting the slide, the vehicle went across the center line and struck a white 2014 Ford F350 driven by Paul Pack.
The impact caused the F350 to roll over three quarters of the way before stopping up against a guard rail.
Pack was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital by Great Bend EMS. Cannon was taken to the hospital by private vehicle,
Freezing rain and icy road conditions contributed to the accident.
The accident is still under investigation.
