Jeremy Denney receives Quilt of Valor

United States Marine Corps Corporal Jeremy Denney was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on June 25, 2021, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Cpl. Denney served from 2005 to 2009 in Iraq as a combat engineer in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The quilt top was made by Mary Ann June, quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor. 

Cpl. Denney was one of eight veterans who received a Quilt of Valor.
