Judge Mike Keeley

Chief Justice Lawton R. Nuss announced Wednesday that the Kansas Supreme Court has reappointed Judge Mike Keeley to a two-year term as Chief Judge of the 20th Judicial District, effective Jan. 1, 2014. Chief Judge Mike Keeley has served as a district judge  in the district since January 1993. He presides over cases in Barton, Ellsworth, Rice, Russell and Stafford counties.
“I am very pleased to announce Chief Judge Keeley’s reappointment,” Chief Justice Nuss said. “The Kansas Judicial Branch is facing a number of challenges, particularly the underfunding of the courts. We will rely on Judge Keeley’s assistance in facing them.”
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve all the people in the 20th Judicial District,” Judge Keeley said.
He is a native of Larned and is a 1982 graduate of Washburn Law School.
