Members of the Knights of Columbus Club in Great Bend are asking the public to help them raise funds to pave the parking lot at their club, 723 Main Street, which is used for numerous public events. There will be a fried chicken dinner at the club from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday, Oct. 12. Cost is $10 for a dinner with all the trimmings. There will be free hot dogs for kids 5 and under, and to-go boxes are available.
The local Knights of Columbus Council and Columbus Club are proud supporters of numerous charities in central Kansas, including the Prince of Peace Parish, Holy Family School, United Way, Barton Community College Foundation and Barton County Young Professionals.
