The October Aglow meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. in Great Bend. The speaker will be Kay Wright.

Kay has lived in Girard for 35 years. She taught children from elementary to high school in the gifted education program in the public schools in Southeast Kansas for 25 years. She currently serves as Prayer Coordinator for her local church and enjoys teaching the principles of God to young women there.

Kay has three children and eight grandchildren who live in Springhill and Olathe and Dripping Springs, Texas.

She currently serves South Area State Aglow Board of Kansas. She has served God through Aglow International for over 25 years in many capacities locally and on the state level. Her passion is to encourage men and women to walk in their true identity God has purposed them to walk. She has been blessed to be able to travel to Israel several times to intercede for Israel and the Middle East and travel to Washington, D.C., to pray for our national leaders in the House and Senate.

This year the Kansas and Colorado Aglow Regional team will be asking favor to pray for President Trump and Vice President Pence when they visit the White House. Aglow International has teams from each region each month go into Washington D.C.
