PAWNEE COUNTY — A Salina woman was taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned on Wednesday after the truck she was a passenger in crashed in Pawnee County.
Audrey Anne Amrine, 34, sustained possible injury, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The 1995 Chevy truck was driven by Ernest Mace Sarles, 29, of Abilene, who was not injured. They were both wearing seat belts.
The crash occurred at 4 a.m. on May 24 on K-156, 7 miles west of Larned. Sarles was driving west when, for unknown reason, the truck crossed the center line, entered the south ditch and then crossed a driveway, landing in a wheat field.
