MANHATTAN — The Kansas State University’s agricultural economics department has awarded more than $200,000 in undergraduate student scholarships. The awards were given at the department’s recent annual scholarship and awards banquet. Guests included family, faculty, alumni and donors who make the scholarships possible.
Scholarships are given to incoming freshmen, transfer students and continuing students in the department. A variety of scholarships are available, including for strong academic excellence, leadership, community service and other criteria as determined by donors.
Among the recipients was Sarah Niederee, Great Bend, who received the CHS Foundation Scholarship.
