On Thursday, July 15, the City of Larned dismissed its entire electrical line crew, according to the Larned Tiller & Toiler. City Manager Bradley Eilts said he is not allowed to discuss this because it is a personnel matter.

The City posted a notice that Midwest Energy will perform the electric system service and construction duties for an indefinite period while the City explores long-term service solutions.
