The League of Women Voter’s of Great Bend will be presenting a candidate’s forum at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Crest Theatre on the square, downtown Great Bend. It is free of charge to the public. Candidates who have someone running in opposition will be on the forum. There will be three races for the spring election. There are openings on the Board of Trustees for Barton Community College, Great Bend
City Council, and USD #428 School Board. All of them have multiple candidates.
Rose Kelly will be the moderator of the event. Candidate’s for all of the races have been invited and most will attend and present their views. Questions have been prepared and the candidates will draw their questions on the stage. No questions will be taken from the audience. You may speak to the any of the candidates during the intermission or after the forum.
League is a non-partisan organization devoted to the education of the voting public on issues of local state, and national importance.
