Members can attend the Friends of the Library Book sale from 1-4:30 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 10, on the lower level meeting room of the library. “Friends” memberships may be purchased any time at the front desk.
The annual book sale will open to the general public starting Sunday. Sale hours and dates are: 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday, noon to 8:30 p.m. Monday, and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 13-14.
The library and the Friends group work together to increase public awareness and support for the library and enhance the library’s role in Great Bend. Membership forms are available at the library, or send an email to gbplfriends@gmail.com, and include your name, address and phone number. Dues are $10 a year for an individual or $20 for a family. Memberships are for October through September.
