Hoisington trolley to travel to state fair

The Hoisington trolley will travel to the Kansas State Fair on Sept. 18. The trolley will leave the Masonic Lodge, 2nd and Vine, at 8:30 a.m. The space is available on a first come first serve basis, limited to 10 passengers.

Fundraiser set for Sept. 18

The Hoisington VFW, 256 S. Main, will host a fundraiser for Christopher Schneweis from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept 18. A dance will follow.

The cost is $5 for the dinner plus $5 for the dance which begins at 8 p.m. There will also be a raffle and silent auction.
