Diamonds returning to Larned

for Christmas Concert Dec. 5

The Diamonds presented a well-received concert in Larned a few months ago, and will return for a Christmas engagement here — a one-time concert on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. at Larned Community Center. Tickets will be available at First State Bank, American State Bank and Farmers Bank and Trust. They will be $10 in advance for adults, $15 at the door; and $5 in advance for persons 18 and younger, also $5 at the door.

The concert is sponsored by Prairie Arts Unlimited.

The Diamonds had the hilarious hit "Little Darlin’," sort of a self-mockery of do-wop, in 1957, and several other pop hits in the 50s and 60s.
