4-H Adventure Day
scheduled Saturday

LARNED — Pawnee County 4-H will introduce area youngsters about the benefits of joining 4-H activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday north of the Larned High football field during Junior Indian football.
The 4-H Adventure Day is an opportunity to learn about 4-H projects offered in Pawnee County. 4-H members and leaders from 4-H chapters Gem Dandy’s, Pawnee Peppers, Tiny Toilers, Zook Zippers and Western Wranglers.

Rozel UMC revival
will start Sunday

ROZEL — The Rozel United Methodist Church will start a three-day revival, “Becoming Who You Were Born to Be,” starting at 7 p.m. Sunday under the direction of Pastor Rob Schmutz.
Sunday’s theme of “Who I Am,” will be preceded by a sloppy joe dinner at 5:30 p.m. Monday’s theme is “Why Am I Here?” A prayer breakfast will start at 7 a.m. and a Youth Night starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday’s theme is “What Am I Willing to Do About It?” and will run with a Kids Night at 7 p.m.

Sacred Heart Altar
Society’s sale set

LARNED — Sacred Heart Altar Society will sponsor the Attic, Basement, Closet (ABC) sale from 4  to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 11 in the school auditorium.
Winter coats, stocking hats, mittens, scarves and snow boots are the only clothing available at the sale.
