Meeting rescheduled

LARNED — A public meeting on the “Future of the Extension Program in Pawnee County, that was scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 at the J.A. Haas Exhibit Building in Larned. The public is invited to attend.

Welcome Inn holds drawing

LARNED — The annual Welcome Inn Christmas drawing was held during the December Birthday and Anniversary dinner Dec. 15. 
The winners were Elaine Appel, Quilt, donated by Rosella Sydow; Charles Wonsetler, Double Knit Rug, donated by Lila Beltz; Leo Skelton, Quilted Flag, donated by Lou White; Melba Woods, Luncheon Cloth, donated by Lila Beltz; Betty Brown, Green Afghan, donated by Charles Wonsetler; Rosella Sydow,Triangle Afghan, donated by Mona Marie Wysong; H.A. Smith, Red Heart Throw, donated by Diana Morell; Marcie Satterlee, Gerry Lewis, Urban Gathman and Wanda Eye each winning one set, four sets of Tatted Ornaments, donated by Jewell Lewis.
