LARNED — The Pawnee County commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the Pawnee County Courthouse.
Agenda items include:
10 a.m. — Denise Wood, Community Corrections/Juvenile Justice Authority director, on Juvenile Justice Authority grant.
10:30 a.m. — Linda Wright, Espy Services.
11:30 a.m. — Carl Miller, Pawnee County appraiser on contract and updates.
1:30 p.m. — Matt Heyn, Pawnee valley Community Hospital, HaysMed monthly update.
3:30 p.m. — Kathy Rondeau, conservation district manager and Jamie Holopirek, soil conservationist.
Celebration is Sunday
LARNED — An open house for Lucille Baugher’s 101st birthday is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Diversicare of Larnedm, formerly Larned HealthCare Center, 1114 W. 11th Street.
Relay meeting Monday
LARNED — The Pawnee County Relay For Life captains’ meeting is scheduled at 5 p.m. Monday at First State Bank and Trust in Larned. Please use the south doors on 6th Street. A committee meeting will follow. All team captains and team members are welcome. Anyone interested in forming a team is also welcome to attend.
Reception scheduled
LARNED — A come and go birthday reception is scheduled for Dr. W. R. Brenner from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus on Scenic Drive in Larned.
Lab day scheduled
LARNED — Pawnee County Health Department’s Lab day is schuduled Friday, May 24.
Appointments are now being scheduled. The clinic starts at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10 a.m.

The Pawnee County Health Department is located on the 1st floor of the Courthouse, 715 Broadway.
Choices are: Profile which includes Complete Metabolic Profile (CMP), Lipid Panel, TSH and Hemagram (Complete Blood Count), $30, Individual tests: CMP, $15, Lipid Panel, $10, TSH, $8, Hemagram, $10, Free T4, $8, PSA, $15 and HgbA1C, $8.
The Pawnee County Health Department offers this service in cooperation with Pawnee Valley Community Hospital. The lab day is private pay and no health insurance is billed.
