Meet the Chamber director

LARNED -- A reception for Sydney Blanton, the new Larned Chamber and Pawnee County Economic Development director, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Broadway Grill, 423 Broadway.

Taco Bell event Wednesday

LARNED -- A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Broadway and 14th. A reception will follow the ceremony at Glory Be at Broadway and 7th.

Easter Egg hunt Saturday

LARNED -- The annual Easter Egg hunt is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday for children 10 and under. The event is sponsored by Diversicare of Larned.

Kindergarten roundup April 10

LARNED -- The Fort Larned USD 495 district will sponsor a kindergarten roundup at Hillside Elementary School Friday, April 10. Children must be 5 years old before Aug. 31, 2015.Children who attend Tri-County Preschool or JumpStart Preschool can bypass the roundup.For information, contact Lea Harding or Hannah Smith, 620-285-2311.

LARNED --  Ruth Searight, Pawnee County Clerk, reports that her office will be open Saturday, April 4, for Advance Voting, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., for the City/School/Bond Issue, General Election, April 7, 2015.  Sample ballots may be viewed at: www.pawneecountykansas.com. Advance Voting continues daily, Monday through Friday, County Clerk's Office, 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Saturday, please enter by the west or south doors, and go to 2nd floor, Pawnee County Courthouse.
