Larned city council to meet

LARNED — The Larned city council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Agenda items include:
Public Hearing for Airport Budget Amendment, Personnel Handbook, Helping Hands, Ordinance for 911 Fund and Resolution for Longevity Pay.

Celebration scheduled

LARNED — A Celebration of Life service in memory of Althea Shuss Vratil is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28 in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 8th and Morris, Larned. It will be hosted by the Presbyterian Women and Jim Vratil and family.  Cookies and coffee will be served. Friends of Althea Shuss Vratil are welcome.
