LARNED — The Larned State Hospital Endowment Association will sponsor an Everything $6 fundraising jewelry and accessories sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  on Monday and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 5.
Most items will sell for $6.  The sale is scheduled at the LSH Auditorium located near the center of the Larned State Hospital grounds. Proceeds benefit the LSH Endowment Association, which has a mission of enhancing patient care at Larned State Hospital.
An LSH Endowment Association member suggested the fundraising sale in cooperation with  B&N Jewelry, a Kansas company. The first sale went so well that the board voted to make the sale a standing part of the Endowment Association’s fundraising efforts.
“No one had any idea what to expect, but the first sale last fall was outstanding,” said Hal Staats, LSH Endowment Association president. “The products were quality goods, priced up to 80 percent below retail.  There were some very happy customers.”
Items feature necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. Specials feature purses, watches, sunglasses, wallets, reading glasses, belts and other accessories.
