BURDETT — Commodities will be distributed from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Burdett Seniors Building.

Wet/Dry Routes Santa Fe chapter scheduled to meet Sunday

KINSLEY — The Wet/Dry Routes of the Santa Fe Trail Association has scheduled a chapter meeting Sunday in Kinsley at the Municipal Building. Prior to the meeting, a chicken dinner will be offered at Strate’s Cafe on east U.S. 50 at 1 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 285-3295.
An election of officers and the Faye Anderson Award will be presented prior to the presentation “Life and Equipment of a Frontier Infantryman,” by Rex Abrahams, president of the Fort Larned Old Guard.

Flu vaccine available

LARNED — The Pawnee County Health Department continues to have seasonal influenza vaccine available for children and adults from 6 months of age and older. The clinics are on Wednesday and Fridays 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. No appointment needed and curb side service is available. For information, call 620-285-6963.

Volunteers sought

LARNED — Volunteer orientation for the Pawnee County Humane Society is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday.
