health program

LARNED — Time For A Change starts Tuesday. Register at the Paw­nee County Extension Office from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Weigh-ins will be at the Pawnee County Health Department. Registration is $12 per person or  $48 per team.  For information, call 620-285-6901.  
 
Coffee hour set

LARNED — The weekly Larned Chamber coffee hour will be sponsored by Clock Realty and Insurance, 615 Broadway, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Clock Realty and Insurance will recognize Felicia Snodgrass for acquiring her realtor’s license.

Vets’ rep to visit

LARNED — Vincent Scott Dorsey, Veterans’ Service Representa­tive of the Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs, Fort Dodge, will be in Larned at the Veterans of For­eign War Building from 10 a.m. to noon, and at the Larned State Hospital in the Reimbursement Office from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. He will assist veterans, their dependents or survivors with questions concerning veterans benefits.

Chamber Ambassadors
soup, pie supper Friday

LARNED — The Larned Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will sponsor their annual soup and pie supper  at the Larned Middle School from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Homemade chicken noodle soup, chili and pie will be served.  Cost is $5 per person.  Proceeds go to support the lo­cal fireworks, Christmas parade and other Chamber activities.

Casino Night set

ROZEL — Rozel and Burdett Pride groups will sponsor a a Casino Night from 7 p.m. until midnight Saturday at the Rozel Community Building.  There will be a silent auction.
