Robert Lane with McDonald’s plans to address the Great Bend City Council on Monday to discuss the delineators the city installed on 10th Street earlier this year. The Great Bend City Council will meet in the council chambers with no public access in the building at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. The meeting will be live-streamed for public view on the Great Bend City Council Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/gbcitycouncil/.

The council will also consider a rezoning request from Ellinwood Land and Cattle Inc. concerning real estate located in the 3-mile limit of Great Bend. If the land is rezoned from A (agriculture) to LMSC (light manufacturing/service commercial) as requested, it will be sold to Bucklin Tractor Implement Co. Inc., which will construct a 35,000-square-foot building to house a sales, parts and repair facility for its line of agricultural machinery.

Other items on the agenda include a two-day cereal malt beverage license for a car auction at the Expo grounds on Oct. 2-3; a proposed change in the city’s procurement policy; a street resurfacing bid; abatements; and Blue Cross/Blue Shield rates for 2021.
