Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 31, and flowers and other decorations may be put on the graves at the two Great Bend Cemetery locations (Broadway and 24th Street) starting at noon Thursday, May 27, Cemetery Supervisor Alex Crawford announced. They must be removed by Sunday, June 6.

Cemetery staff will begin removing flowers and decorations starting at 8 a.m. Monday, June 7.
