U.S. Senator Jerry Moran fielded questions about health care for veterans and the Veterans Choice Program during a town hall Thursday at the American AgCredit in Great Bend.Veterans can use the program to receive medical care in their communities rather than traveling to a VA hospital, as long as they meet certain guidelines, Moran said.“Something I want your help with is for the people that have served our country and to make sure they receive the care that they deserve,” Moran said. “Access to VA facilities has been a challenge for so many in rural Kansas and other veterans around the country. So we rallied Congress to a cause that was successful.
