The City of Great Bend Public Works Department is starting to fog for mosquitoes this week, said Street Supervisor Tony Bronson. The fogging will take place from 8 p.m. until midnight, weather permitting, staring today.  

The fogging will continue on Thursday nights through June 23, he said. They will monitor conditions continually to make their determinations.

The public is encouraged to take precautions to limit exposure to themselves, especially those with medical issues. Precautions should alsob e taken with pets..
