The City of Great Bend Public Works Department will begin mosquitoes spraying this week, said Street Superintendent Mike Crawford. The spraying will start at 8 p.m. until midnight, weather permitting, staring this Thursday. Other dates include May 25, and June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. 

Crawford said the city will take a look at the conditions after that and continue if needed.
