1-Tribune

A Great Bend man was injured Monday morning when the motorcycle he was driving struck a dog in South Hoisington. Sheriff Brian Bellendir said the man’s injuries were not life-threatening and the dog ran away.
Neil Lininger, 31, was driving south on U.S. 281 near Sheridan Ave. at 5:50 a.m. He did not see the dog standing in the road at first, but when he did he attempted to lay the bike down. He was transported to Clara Barton Hospital by Hoisington ambulance.
