Motorcyclist injured on K-140

ELLSWORTH COUNTY — Jacob W. Rider, 41, from Kanopolis was injured Monday night when he lost control of a motorcycle and hit a bridge guardrail, 4 miles west of Brookville on K-140 in Ellsworth County.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports that around 10:07 p.m., the westbound cyclist was ejected from the 2010 Honda Sabre motorcycle, which continued to slide into the eastbound lane. He was not wearing a helmet.
Rider was taken to Salina Regional Health Center.
The motorcycle was removed by Ellsworth Service Center.
