LUCAS — A Wilson man was injured Tuesday when the Jeep he was driving crashed in Russell County, half a mile east of Lucas.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Vernon F. Krisher, 51, was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Krisher was driving north on K-232 at 6 a.m. and ran the stop sign at K-18, which he did not see due to the fog. The 1999 Grand Cherokee entered the north ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest on its top. Krisher had been wearing a seat belt.
