The Great Bend USD 428 school board members and others who attend Monday’s Board of Education meeting will have the opportunity to tour the district’s new activity bus.
The tour is expected to take 10 minutes and is on the agenda under “new business.” The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the District Education Center, 201 South Patton Road.
One of the first items of business will be recognizing achievements of the Great Bend High School Yearbook students and their sponsor for an award-winning 2016 “Rhorea” yearbook, as well as GBHS student Allison Regehr, who finished in 8th at this summer’s Future Business Leaders of America Conference in Atlanta, Ga.
Other action items on the agenda include public notification of the Title VI B ECH budget, which covers the salaries for licensed special education staff; approval to release bids for a 2018 activity bus; approval of contributions; an executive session for discussion of personnel; and adoption of a new superintendent evaluation form and policy.
