Action items at the Nov. 22 meeting of the Barton Community College trustees involved hiring new personnel.
Director of Public Relations Brandon Steinert reports there was a 15-minute executive session for discussion of personnel. After the session, the board tabled approval of a coordinator of fundraising and special events for the BCC Foundation, and will revisit the subject at the December meeting.
Two other new employees were approved: Susan Gibson was hired as a part-time Meals On Wheels program assistant and Ovie Cade was given a contract to teach welding on the Barton County campus.
