The Larned Area Chamber of Commerce announces Carrie Koralek as the new Director of the Pawnee County Economic Development Commission.

Koralek was raised in an agricultural family in Lincoln and graduated from Ellsworth High School. She moved to the area with her husband in 2021 and they have a one year old son. She holds an associate degree in social work from Hutchinson Community College and a bachelor’s degree in business communication from Fort Hays State University. She also brings experience in recruitment and digital marketing to her new role.

“Having been raised in a small town, I have a passion for rural life and the people who power it. My door is always open and I look forward to partnering with local Leadership and businesses to drive the community forward!” Koralek said.

“We are excited to announce Carrie Koralek as our new Pawnee County Economic Development Director,” said Economic Development President Travis Thompson. “Carrie has experience in recruitment and digital marketing that we believe will be very beneficial in her new role.”
