Standing at left is Jordan Keil, a new officer with the Great Bend Police Department. He was introduced to the City Council Monday night by Police Chief Steve Haulmark, standing at right. Keil is a Great Bend native who attended Barton Community College and received a biology degree from Fort Hays State University. Prior to coming to the GBPD, he worked five summers with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. “We’re very excited to have him here,” Haulmark said, noting his department is now fully staffed. Pictured in the foreground is Public Lands Director Scott Keeler.
