"Every Bone Tells a Story" by Jill Rubalcaba. The authors offer an engaging account of the discovery of four early hominids, and the laboratory deductions that scientists made in learning more about them. In the process, the reader will discover the very specialized aspects of the field of archaeology, and how new technology can change both scientists’ theories and the way we view the past.

Knitters! Here are four new titles to inspire your winter projects, or get you started if you are a novice. "More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts" by Joelle Hoverson presents 30 new projects for all levels of knitters. The Knitter’s Year by Debbie Bliss has 52 original hand-knit projects, while "Simple Stitches Knitting" by Val Pierce caters to the new knitter. Finally, "Head to Toe Knits" by Bronwyn Lowenthal provides a variety of fashion -forward designs.
